Abstract
PURPOSE:To suppress the fluctuation of the operating point of a magnetic circuit and to prevent the generation of distortion, by providing an exciting coil for a magnetic circuit and exciting the magnetic circuit inversely to the exciting operation in which the conductor of the oscillation system gives effect on the magnetic circuit through the application of the audio current. CONSTITUTION:A magnetic circuit consists of a permanent magnet 1, a back plate 2 having a center pole 2a at the center, and a top plate 3. The vibration system of a speaker consists of a bobbin 4, a voice coil 5 wound on the bobbin 4, a diaphragm 6, and a damper 7. An audio signal current is supplied from an audio signal source S to the voice coil 5. An exciting coil 9 is wound on the center pole 2a of the magnetic circuit to supply the audio signal current from the signal source S. In this case, a coil 10 is provided so that it can produce almost equal magnetic flux in the amplitude to the magnetic flux generated with the coil 5 in opposite phase.
