Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce the power consumption, by supplying a clock signal only at the reception of a burst signal of the time division channel of a station of itself to a controller driving a separating memory and a demodulator. CONSTITUTION:A time division multiplex signal received at a receiver 12 is demodulated into a burst signal in 384 k-bit/sec at a demodulator 13. From a demodulated signal, only a signal of the time division channel of the station is stored at a separating memory 15 and data in 64kb/s is obtained. The output of the memory 15 is converted into analog information at a D/A converter 16. A synchronizing controller 14 forms a control signal from the control information and the synchronizing signal of the received signal and a signal applied to a gate 19 by a controller 18 from this control signal. The gate 19 is opened only at the reception of the channel of the station itself and supplies a clock signal to a demodulator 13 and a controller 20.
