Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide additionally a protection cover compactly, by interlocking the protection cover and an object focusing member for the closing operation of the protection cover so that the object focusing member is operated by releasing the detention and a part of a photographic lens system is moved toward the surface of a film to close the protection cover. CONSTITUTION:When the photographer performs the release operation under the state where a lens protection cover is opened, a magnet 13 is magnetized to turn a pawl 14 clockwise, and the magnet 13 is degaussed again by the object distance signal issued from an object distance measuring part. The pawl 14 is turned counterclockwise by the energizing force of a spring 15 and goes into a pawl part 12e of a focusing member 12 to detain the pawl part 12e in a prescribed position. Next, a shutter is opened, and a broken clutch of a tape-up system is made again by a closing signal after exposure, and power is supplied to a motor, and the film is advanced and the shutter and an autofocus system are charged, and the protection cover is returned to the opening state shown in figure.
