Abstract
PURPOSE:To facilitate change in loading format, and to easily adjust an impact load, by transmitting the impact force from a hammer part which rockes in the forward and backward movement of an actuator to a test piece through a load transmission part. CONSTITUTION:An actuator 1 is moved forth and back by controlling a servo valve 2 to accelerate a hammer part 3 by the piston rod 1a of the actuator, and then the accelerated hammer part 3 strikes the percussion rod 8 of a load percussion part B. This percussion rod 8, while compressing a return spring 11, moves up and right to strike the load rod 13 of a means C to be tested, which receives the impact load. Then, the load rod 13 makes a test piece P provided at the other end strike a body 21 of revolution to apply the impact load to the test piece P simultaneously with sliding abrasion. Consequently, the impact load is adjusted by varying the piston speed of the actuator and various loads are applied to the test piece.
