Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve power factor, by controlling capacitors at each transformer system control section, and controlling on, off of unit capacitor groups independent in each system capacitor with a switching signal through the detection of a reactive power at a power receiving point. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of power receiving transformers 1, 2 and 3 are connected via a metering outfit (MOF) for transaction, a distribution line 10 is connected at the secondary side of the transformers 1, 2 and 3 and capacitors 7, 8 and 9 ae installed in parallel with loads. The capacitors 7, 8 and 9 consist of transformer system unit capacitor groups 7a, 8a and 9a which are mainly controlled with a switching signal from transformer system control sections 12, 13 and 14 and receiving point system unit capacitor groups 7b, 8b and 9b which are mainly controlled with a switching signal from a receiving point control section 15. Each unit capacitor group is connected to the secondary of the transformer via a switch 11 respectively.
