Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent the deterioration of the voice quality which is due to the repetition of the demodulation, the exchange and the modulation respectively and to extend the system, by connecting the voice modulating signals between the vocoders of the intermediate exchange stations and converting the modulating signal into the demodulation signal at an incoming station and by the information of the incoming dial signal, etc. CONSTITUTION:The exchange stations 22 and 24 are connected via a relaying exchage station 23. When an outgoing is given to the station 24 from the station 22, the information of the dial signal, etc. which is given from a calling telephone TEL1 is fed to an exchange station 23 via a switchboard 30 and a trunk line 25 and then relayed and exchanged by a switchboard 31 to be fed to a switchboard 32 of an exchange station 24 via a trunk line 26. On the other hand, the vocoders 27-29 are connected to the switchboards 30-32 respectively of the stations 22, 23 and 24, and these vocoders are connected to each other via a trunk line 21. Then the voice modulating signals are connected among the vocoders 27-29. The modulating signal is changed to the demodulating signal at each incoming station by the information of the dial signal, etc. Thus the deterioration of the voice signal is prevented, and the system can be easily extended.
