Abstract

PURPOSE:To make it possible to perform marking off work readily in an arbitrary direction by providing rotary bodies which are rotatably mounted on a base, struts whose base parts are implanted to the rotary bodies, and a slider which is slidably supported by the struts. CONSTITUTION:A concave part 12, whose axial direction of the central axis is directed in the horizontal direction and which has a cylinder shaped inner surface, is provided in the base 11 of the height gage. In said concave part 12, the first rotary body 15, the second rotary body 16, and the third rotary body 17 which is provided between said rotary bodies 15 and 16, each having a short cylindrical form, are inserted so that they are aligned on the same axis one another and freely rotated, independently. The base parts of the struts are implanted in the rotary bodies 15 and 16. The slider 41 is slidably supported by the struts 25 and 26 along the longitudinal direction of the struts. In this constitution, the marking off work can be readily performed in the arbitrary slant direction.
