Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve handiness of a gas range, by so constituting that a control range is expanded from a low temperaute range to a high temperature range by providing an electronic proportional valve having fixed width of a temperature range which is less than a setting temperature of a sensor, in a gas range cum temperature sensor. CONSTITUTION:During cooking, a temperature of a material to be cooked is detected by a pan bottom temperature sensor 8, whcih is compared with a setting temperature B by a temperature detecting circuit 23, an electronic proportional valve 25 is set at the maximum quantity of gas to be directed by the maximum limitting circuit 28, through which heating is started, and then heated up to the setting temperature. Then, the material to be cooked is heated by the maximum quantity of gas to be directed by the minimum limitting circuit 29 when a temperature adjustment is set, solenoid valve is closed at Z point and combustion is stopped. When a temperature is decreased a valve 33 is opened, ignited at NO quantity of gas and reduced to the quantity of gas of the minimum limitting circuit 29. A captioned device is so constituted that it is actuated in a temperature range width of a setting temperature retaining range T1, an electron proportional range T2 and a lower temperature P side temperature range T3, control of a cooking temperature becomes adequate and handiness is improved.
