Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve the bearing function of the plural number of roll bearings by forming said bearings in a complex structure of double support, reducing the number of rotations of each roll bearing and increasing its coefficient of speed. CONSTITUTION:A load is first alloted for support from a rotary shaft 1 to two inner chord radial bearings 2, 2 of the rotary shaft 1 side, and through an intermediate retainer 11, supported and transmitted by means of an outer chord radial bearing 4 of one casing side 3, being thus doubly supported. While the intermediate retainer 11 performs a floating support, the number of rotations of the rotary shaft 1 for the casing 3 is equal to the sum of the number of partial rotations of the inner chord radial bearings 2 and the number of partial rotations of the outer chord radial bearing 4. Based upon the relationship between the magnitudes of bearing loads for both radial bearings 2, 4 and locations of the bearings 2, 4 at substantially the same semidiameter position, the numbers of partial rotations of both bearings 2, 4 are about the same. As a result, since both bearings 2, 4 operate at the low rate of partial rotation, the terms of each load are relaxed and the performance of each bearing 2, 4 is improved.
