Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce the number of rolling stands, simplify the titled installation and to improve productivity by making the entire process continuous and using extra dissimilar diameter rolling mills in cold rolling cold rolled steel plates or surface treated steel plates. CONSTITUTION:After a rolling material S supplied through an uncoiling reel 1, a welding macine 2 and a descaling device 3 is cold rolled with dissimilar diameter rolls 4, it is annealed in a continuous annealing device 6, and is further rolled at the skin-pass draft corresponding to purposes with a skin pass rolling mill 7 and is coiled on a coiling reel 8. A cold rolling process 4 and a continuous annealing process 6 or the entire processes are made continuous, whereby the coiling process on the way is saved. In addition, the extra dissimilar diameter rolling mills permitting one pass high screw down are used in place of conventional cold rolling stands, whereby the number of rolling stands is reduced and the cost of equipment is lowered.
