Abstract
PURPOSE: A molded body with excellent wetherability capable of efficiently converting short-wave light into loger-wave light, obtd. by dissolving an org. fluorescent substance in a polymer having a specified solubility parameter at a secified concentration and molding the polyer.
CONSTITUTION: At least two kinds of org. fluorescent substances are dissolved in a polymer of solubility parameter ≤9, said each fluorescent substance being combined so as to cause at least partial overlapping of an absorption sectrum and an emission spectrum. Said fluorescent substances are dissloved in such an amt. that (i) they are totally contained in 30wt% or less, (ii) each of them is contained in at least 0.001wt%, and (iii) two kinds of them in which an absorption spectrum and an emission spectrum overlap at least partially, are totally contained in at least 0.004wt%. Then the polymer is molded into a film, sheet, etc. Said polymer of solubility parameter ≥9 is a polyester, polyamide, polycarbonate, etc.
