Abstract

PURPOSE:To increase the workability of fitting of a pedal arm, by forming a pedal base with synthetic resin by folding the pedal arm almost in an L shape and providing two fitting parts fixing the pedal arm to the pedal base. CONSTITUTION:A pedal arm 16 is folded to an L shape, a tip 16a is made to a flat plate shape and a fitting groove 17 is formed on both the ends. A pedal base 11 is formed with a hard synthetic resin, the surface is formed with a slip preventing shape 12 and the back surface is formed in one body with the cylindrical 1st fitting part 13 fitting and fixing a tip 16a of the arm 16 and the 2nd fitting part 14 fitting and fixing other part 16b of the tip 16a of the arm 16. The fitting part 13 is formed as a taper narrowering the width from an inlet 13a to the center to form a hook 15 fitting the groove 17. The cross section of the fitting part 14 is made to a C shape to keep the external circumference of the part 16b of the arm 16. Since the arm 16 can be fitted to the fitting parts 13 and 14 with one touch, the wokability can be increased and no play between the pedal base and the pedal arm can not be caused.
