Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide a pressure fixable developer compsn. for electrophotography having excellent powder fluidity, blocking resistance, abrasion resistance, etc. by using a bound resin-like material wherein two kinds of resin-like materials having a specific glass transition temp. and ploar functional groups are compounded.
CONSTITUTION: A bound resin-like material wherein (A) a resin-like material having ≤0°C glass transition temp. and polar functional groups (e.g.; and olefinic copolymer having -OH groups, -COOH groups, >C=0 group, etc.) and (B) a resin-like material having ≥40°C glass transition temp. and having a polar functional group having reactivity with the functional group of said component A (e.g.; a styrene copolymer having -OH groups, -COOH groups, etc.) are compounded is used (a combination of the -OH groups and the -COOH groups is preferable as a combination of the functional groups of both). More specifically, the above-described bound resin-like material, a coloring pigment, magnetic fine powder, etc. are imxed, whereby the developer compsn. is prepd.
