Abstract

PURPOSE:To accurately measure the fluidity of a fluid to be measured by detecting changes in current and the position of the electrode incuring such changes with reduction between a fluid and a reducing substance different therefrom charged with the fluid into an observation section where a plurality of measuring electrodes are arranged. CONSTITUTION:In measuring the fluidity of underground water or the like, a boring rod 2 is equipped with a measuring probe 3 whose body 3A is composed a probe body 6 internally provided with a bearing gauge 4, a conical head 7 at the lower end of the body 6 and a bottom base 8 therebelow. The head 7 is equipped with a central electrode 10 and external electrodes 11A-18A and auxiliary electrodes 11B-18B in a concentrical and radial manner. A observation section 23 having these electrodes is sealed with a NaCl solution, for example, opened after inserted into a specified boring position. An underwater enters from a circumferential metal screen 25 of the observation section 23 and is replaced with the NaCl solution to detect elapsed time during which electric resistance changes and the position of the electrode incurring such a change. This enables highly accurate measurement of the direction of the underground water flows and even small flow velocity.
