Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve absorbability of vibration in a suspension where a suspension arm and stabilizer bar are connected with a control rod through rubber cushion, by providing relieves to a prescribed position of said cushion. CONSTITUTION:A rear suspension is constituted by placing a coil sprig 4 on a lower arm 3, pivotally supported to a frame 1, and a rear end part of the lower arm 3 is connected to the front end part of an arm 6 of a stabilizer bar 5 by a control rod 9 through rubber cushions 7, 8. The connection part of these rod 9 and bar 5 is combined by providing a cylindrical binding member 12 to the top end of the rod 9, inserting a binding shaft 13 of the point end of the arm 6 into the center of said cylindrical binding member 12 and filling the rubber cushion 8 between the both member 12 and shaft 13. In this case, relieves 14, 14 are symmetrically provided for the shaft 13 to the direction of an initial turning locus of the bar 5. In this way, an effect of anti-roll of the stabilizer bar 5 can be suppressed at normal running operation.
