Abstract

PURPOSE:To measure and to record an abnormality of water continuing only for a short time, by measuring a measurement item measured intermittently even out of a measuring period, when an abnormal value in the measurement item being measured continuously is detected. CONSTITUTION:Sample water sent from a sampling apparatus 7 is measured continuously by a tubidimeter 1, a pH meter 2, an electric conductivity meter 3 and a dissolved oxygen meter 4 and measured result is recorded. On one hand, the sample water is sampled by a TOC meter 5 used for a measuring instrument of an organic pollution index by opening a sampling valve 11 for a short time at every fixed period and TOC is measured. Further, when the abnormal value is detected by continuous measuring instruments 1-4, an abnormal value detection signal is sent from each instrument to a controller 10 and an urgent measuring instruction signal S is sent to the meter 5 by the controller 10. Then, the measurement is carried out even out of a measuring period and the measured result is recorded. Hereby, the abnormality of water by the organic pollution in a small range continuing only for a short time is measured and is recorded.
