Abstract
PURPOSE:To provide an optical information recording medium of high recording sensitivity, excellent reliability and low cost wherein a layer made of specific material having small thermal conductivity is provided between a metal reflecting layer and a recording layer. CONSTITUTION:A metallic thin film 2 (e.g.: Al film of approximately 100- 5,000Angstrom in thickness) of high reflectivity which changes its state by the thermal energy of a high density energy beam used (e.g.: He-Ne laser), a layer 3 of an organic compound having porphyrin nucleus (e.g.: layer of copper phthalocyanine of approximately 100Angstrom -5mu in thickness), a thin film 4 (e.g.: Te film of approximately 50-2,000Angstrom in thickness) of a metal (or a semimetal, chalcogenide compound) which changes its state by the theral energy of a used density energy beam, and a layer 5 of an organic compound having porphyrin uncleus are formed in sequance on a substrate 1 (e.g.: plastic plate) by using vacuum deposition method, spattering method, etc., to make an optical information recording medium.
