Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve the S/N of a detection output, by locating the contiguous two detectors with the prescribed relation to ensure the peak output emerging in every half period of a rotary magnetic field. CONSTITUTION:A detector 15 at which a bubble P arrives first contains the connecting arms at the center and rear parts of a chevron pattern; while a detector 14 contains the connecting arms at the center and front parts of the chevron pattern. In such way, a Nelson type detector is obtained. For the output peaks of different levels within a period of the rotary magnetic field, a large peak follows a small peak and vice versa for the detectors 15 and 14 respectively. Thus large peak values 16 and 17 emerge with every half period of the rotary magnetic field to be detected easily. The S/N is increased double in comparison with a detection per period. As a result, the S/N of the detection output is improved.
