Abstract
PURPOSE: To convert the image at an emission end to an optical image at an incidence end, by determining the relation of relative positions of respective fibers at both ends of an optical cable consisting of an optical fiber bundle.
CONSTITUTION: The image of a material 21 to be monitored is focused on a front end F of an optical cable 2 by a lens 22 and etc. and is transmitted through the optical cable 2 and is converted to an electric signal in a photoelectric converting circuit 10 under the control of a coordinate generating circuit 11 and is converted to a digital signal in an A/D converting circuit 12 and is written in a data buffer memory 14 by the control of a write controlling circuit 13. Information read out from the memory 14 by a read controlling means is subjected to the address conversion in a coordinate converting circuit 15 in accordance with the relation of positional coordinates of respective fibers at the front end F and a rear end R of the calbe 2 and is written in a refresh memory 16. Information is read out from the memory 16 by a read controlling circuit 18 and is converted to an analogue signal in a D/A converting circuit 19 and is inputted to a CRT20, and thus, the optical image of the material 21 is displayed.
