CONSTITUTION:Lace stock 1a is formed by laying a core material 3 under a reinforcing resin layer 2, and fitted by attaching its fitting surface 21 formed longitudinally on the reinforcing resin layer 2 to outside plate A. The reinforcing resin layer 2 is flexible in unhardened or half hardened condition. Besides, the core material 3 is made of a foaming material which does not foam before fitting lace stock 1a and foams after fitting it. When the lace stock 1a is heated after fitting it to the outside plate A, the core material 3 foams. But the lace 1 is formed in good shaped, as the over foaming of the core material 3 is restrained with a pressing mold 4. When the core material 3 foams, the reinforcing resin layer 2 is pushed up, and the section of the guard lace 1 is formed. Thereafter the reinforcing resin layer 2 hardens.
