Abstract

PURPOSE:To achieve a recording of high quality eliminating waste ink by inserting a seal material between an outer holder and an inner holder in such a manner as to be tight on a correction roller. CONSTITUTION:A seal material 15 is inserted between an inner holder 13 of a flange 12 and an outer holder 14 having such an inner diameter as to match the inner holder 13 and the two holders 13 and 14 are fixed with a pin 16 or the like. When a correction roller 1 and an ink roller 2 rotate as shown by the arrows B and C, ink in an ink reservior is delivered toward the rear from the front and applied on the outersurface of the ink roller 2. At this moment, the flange 12 is at rest and acts to rake up the ink at the end of the ink roller 2 thereby preventing leakage of ink from the surface. The ink leakage from the sliding surface between the correction roller 1 and the flange 12 can be prevented with the seal material 15.
