Abstract
PURPOSE:To shorten the steps, to reduce consumption energy and to maintain preferable workability of multicolor printing and painting method by employing as gloss varnish for painting base and finishing the plate infrared curable type and employing partly as multicolor printing ultraviolet curable ink. CONSTITUTION:A metallic plate is supplied from a feeder 1, an infrared ray curable base paint is coated by a base coater 2 on the plate, is sequentially cured with an infrared oven 3 and a cooler 4, and the plate is stacked on a stacker 5. The stacked plates are fed to a feeder 6, are then supplied from the feeder 6, are printed with ultraviolet curable printing ink, and the step of passing the plates through an ultraviolet ray illuminator 8 is repeated more than once, infrared curable printing ink is then printed once or twice by a printing mechine 9, an infrared curable gloss varnish is coated by a clear varnish coater 10 on the plates, is cured with an infrared oven 11, is then cooled, and the plates are stacked on a stacker 13.
