Abstract
PURPOSE:To reset the hang state of a computer by automatically suppressing an interruption which is caused by the same interruption source at a frequency exceeding a certain value. CONSTITUTION:An interruption counter is provided in amain memory 2, and an area (a) wherein the current count value of the counter for every interrution level is stored and an area (b) wherein its initial value is stored are provided. In addresses 241...24n, numerals regarding permissible frequencies which show how many times an interruption is accepted at every interruption level within a prescribed time are stored. On the other hand, a program for setting initial values in addresses 231...23n within every prescribed time is provided and, for example, an interruption counter set value 241 is inputted to the interruption counter 231. Then, the contents of the counter 231 are discriminated and when the interruption frequency is above a prescribed value, a warning of abnormal interruption is given.
