Abstract
PURPOSE: To improve surface characteristics, such as the touch and an aesthetic sense, by applying a binder to the surface of a hollow plastic body, and then flocking electrostatically charged piles to the surface of the hollow body.
CONSTITUTION: A parison is extruded into a split mold, and pressurized fluid is forcedly poured into the parison, to form a hollow plastic body 6. A binder layer 13A is formed on the surface of the hollow body 6, and the hollow body 6 is mounted on a fixed stand 7. Thereafter, a pile-receiving hopper 10 is arranged above the hollow body 6, high voltage is charged to a wire net 11 from a high- voltage generator 12 to charge pilles 9 with static electricity, and the hollow plastic body 6 is earthed. In this way, the charged piles 9 fly toward the hollow body 6 and stick in the binder layer 13A, to flock the hollow body 6. Consequently, surface characteristics such as the touch and an aesthetic sense can be improved.
