Abstract

PURPOSE:To facilitate shielding of a DC motor by forming recesses on the insulating base of a commutator at its riser side, disposing preventive members for production of noises, bending erected parts formed at the parts of the risers and engaging the members with the erected parts, thereby eliminating the crack of the member. CONSTITUTION:Recesses 8 for containing noise production preventive members 5 are formed at an insulating base 1 to be mounted with commutator segments 3 and risers 4 at the rise side. After the members 5 are contained in the recesses, erected parts 4a formed at th parts of the risers 4 are bent to engage the members 5 within the recesses 8. The poles 6 of the members 5 are directed outwardly, and may be electrically connected via the erected parts 4a of the risers. In this manner, when the members 5 are mounted, no soldering is required, thereby preventing the cracks of the members and facilitating shielding of a motor from the atmospheric air.
