Abstract

PURPOSE:To make small sized and light weighted, by loading a tape asymmetrically to a reel, through parallel drawing of tapes for both reels to a loading plane of the tape cassette with a pair of tape drawing members. CONSTITUTION:A magnetic tape 53 tensioned between guide posts 49 and 52 in a cassette half 44 before loading is drawn out from the cassette half 44 with the movement of incoming side guide shaft groups 59 and 60 toward the arrow (h) and that of outgoing side shaft groups 63 and 64 toward the arrow (i) by the operation of recording/reproduction and loaded to the tape run path state. At the loading completion position of the tape, a loading angle of incoming side is greater to the cassette half 44 and the winding angle of outgoing side is small for asymmetrical loading. The magnetic tape 53 is paid off from a supply reel 45 through the rotation of a capstan 66 toward the arrow (j) and runs toward the arrow (k) and wound on a winding reel 46.
