Abstract
PURPOSE:To extend the life of mechaism, by preventing frequent oscillation of a valve control output at steady-state without differentiating operation, when the deviation between a process variable signal and a set point is within a specified value. CONSTITUTION:A deviation TER between a temperature rise set point TUP and a process variable signal TWOB from a gate temperature sensor 4 is processed at rate and integral operation sections 6 and 7, and a part 13 controlling the differential operation is added to a differentiation operation section 8 for processing. The part 13 does not make differentiation operation when the deviation TER is within a prescribed value. The outputs of the operation sections 6, 7, and 8 are synthesized to obtain a signal TC, which is applied to a control variable process 10 via an output limiter 9. Thus, the tracing of a slight temperature change when no load fluctuation takes place is not done, allowing to prevent oscillating operation of the mechanism and to extend the life.
