Abstract
PURPOSE:To form an optical path separating cylinder without using any metallic mold by deforming a plastic deforming material which has permanent deformation under pressure. CONSTITUTION:A rolling roller 3 is pressed against a material, such as oil clay which is deformed plastically easily and maintains its shape after the deformation, namely, has the property of permanent deformation, placed in a frame 1, thus forming an optical separating cylinder 4 which has hole parts 4a. While lens arrays 5, 6 and 7 are arranged in the hole parts 4a, this separating cylinder 4 is held by holding frames 8 and 8 and used as lens arrays of the light source for exposure of a copying machine, etc. Thus, no die is used, so there is no possibility that small parts of the separating cylinder break down when extracted from a metallic mold, obtaining high shape precision.
