Abstract
PURPOSE:To make a wide space monitor to high accuracty with a simple construction, by providing a detector arranged plural infrared detection elements in a secondary direction, on the condensing face of a lens. CONSTITUTION:A detector 3 is formed by arranging sixteen infrared ray detection elements 32 such as a thermistor bolometer on a substrate 31 in a secondary direction corresponding to sixteen zones dividing a monitor space 1. Accordingly, the element group 32 of the detector 3 corresponds to each zone 11 of the space 1 and when infrared radiation density is increased by invading a human body, etc. into each zone 11, an output level of corresponding element 32 is varied. Then, a timer 5 is operated by said variation and an alarm signal is outputted.
