PURPOSE:To simplify a facsimile equipment which uses heat-sensitive, photosensitive recording paper colored by heat and fixed by light, and to improve its efficiency by using one light source for original irradiation and fixation. CONSTITUTION:Recording paper 1 is rolled and has the photofixing performance that it is colored by heat and the coloring is disabled by light; while the paper moves as shown by an arrow, recording is done by a heat-sensitive recording head 2 and fixation is carried out by light from a light source 5 before it is discharged to a copy tray. An original on an original table 11 is conveyed by an original conveyor roller 12 and image information on the original is read by light from the light source 5 through contact glass 13 and then read by a photoelectric converting element 17 through a mirror 15 and a lens 16.
