Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent an electrostatic noise of a facsimile equipment which has a bottom plate made of plastic, by grounding a metallic plate fitted with a unit on the bottom plate. CONSTITUTION:The housing of a facsimile equipment consists of a housing cover 1 and a bottom plate 7 made of plastic; and a metallic plate 6 is fixed on the bottom plate 7 and on it a transmitting unit 2, a receiving unit 3, a power source unit 4, and a base plate unit 5 are mounted while an earth terminal at the corner part of the metallic plate 6 is grounded through an earth wire 9. Consequently, electrostatic noise resistance is improved and said bottom plate is reinforced by the metallic plate 6.
