Abstract
PURPOSE:To survey with high accuracy and in a short time of period even in case of a shallow harbor, by providing a independent A/D converter on each receiver towed by a streamer cable, accumulating this digital converting output once in a memory, and after that, reading out and recording it at a desired speed. CONSTITUTION:Each output is sampled independently through input terminals 11-1N, amplifiers 21-2N and filters 31-3N from reflecting information from each receiver a1-aN towed by a streamer cable, and is digitized by A/D converters 41-4N. This digital signal is accumulated once in memory devices 51-5N, and is read out at a speed which is the most suitable for recording a data to a magnetic tape deck 8. The recorded contents of the magnetic tape are analyzed by an electronic computer 9, a surface acoustive wave, layer thickness, etc. of each layer are printed and recorded. Also, a processing output of the electronic computer is converted to analog by a D/A converter 10, is added to an X-Y recorder 11, and the sectional structure is displayed as direct viewing.
