Abstract
PURPOSE: To prevent a submarine living thing from adhering onto the surface of a shielding chamber, by providing not only a collating electrode whose one end part is exposed in the shielding chamber but also other collating electrode whose one end part is exposed to the outside of the shielding chamber, on the bottom part of the shielding chamber in which an underwater motor has been stored, and connecting them to a constant potential electrolytic device, respectively.
CONSTITUTION: On the bottom part of a shielding chamber in which an underwater motor 1 has been stored, collating electrodes (a), (b) are provided so that they can be installed from the inside or the outside of the chamber. The collating electrode (a) consists of an anode rod 11 and a collating welding rod 19, the lower end of each of them is connected to a constant potential electrolytic device, and the upper end is exposed in the shielding chamber 2. On the other hand, as for the collating electrode (b), the anode rod 11 and the collating welding rod 19 are made to branch to a long leg part and a short leg part, respectively, the short leg part of the anode rod 11 and the long leg part of the collating welding rod 19 are connected to the constant potential electrolytic device, and also each lower end part is exposed to the outside of the shielding chamber 2. In this way, it is prevented that the shielding chamber, the wall and the outside circumferential metallic fittings become anticorrosive excessively.
