PURPOSE:To mold a one body-type jacket core for a cylinder head of intricate construction quickly by disposing many blow parts of small diameters in a core box of one body type densely at spacings between each other, and packing coated sand through these blow ports. CONSTITUTION:Plural projecting parts 3 are formed at the end edge of the core base part 2 of a one-body type jacket 1 of a cylinder head. Many of blow positions 4 thereof are disposed at >=1 piece for each 10cm<3> densely at spacings between each other. A cold box method is adapted for molding this jacket core 1. More specifically, coated sand is blown through the respective blow ports 4 so that the coated sand is packed thoroughly to the intricate molding parts and narrow mold end parts. An amine type gas is acted upon this packed sand to harden the sand, whereby the intended jacket core 1 is obtained.
