Abstract

PURPOSE:To continuously apply a blood coating by a construction wherein a plurality of coating blades are provided on the periphery of a support which is movable upwardly and downwardly and freely rotatable by the predetermined angle. CONSTITUTION:A support 9 with multiple blades is supported by an arm 12 in such a manner that it is freely movable upwardly and downwardly. As the support drops because of its dead load, the blade desired 22 among a plurality of coating blades 22 that are freely rotatable on a common shaft 24 and allowed to turn by the predetermined angle through a pulse motor and the like is used to apply blood on a slide 2 moving to the left together with a slide holder 1. A simple construction with a plurality of coating blades attached to the rotatable support facilitates the blood supply to the coating blade without interruption of coating, thereby securing a continuous coating.
