Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve sealing and noise-proof characteristics of a grommet, by both providing seal lips to a cup-shaped main unit and its connected cover and providing an engagement part, engaged to a through hole at a panel side, to the main unit. CONSTITUTION:A grommet main unit 3a is formed to cup-shape, and provided with an engagement part 3b in its opening side edge part while the first seal lip 3c in its center. Further an opening part of the main unit 3a can be closed by a disc-shaped cover 3e through a thin hinge part 3d, and the cover 3e is integrally formed to an upper end part of the opening side edge successively to the engagement part 3b. Still further the second seal lip 3b is protrusively provided to the outside correspondingly in the center of said cover 3e to the seal lip 3c of the main unit 3a, simultaneously a stopper hole 3g, stopper part, is formed to the peripheral edge part at an opposite side to the thin hinge part 3d of the cover 3e, further a stopper protrusion 3h is formed in the main unit 3a corresponding to said stopper hole 3g.
