Abstract

PURPOSE: To improve the fixing accuracy of blade to a shroud by a method wherein a combined blade body, which is machined from a blade blank so as to form the required profile of the blade arranged to hold at the fixed relative position, is fixed on the shroud in the impeller equipped with the shroud and the blades.
CONSTITUTION: A blade blank 4 in the form of a cylindrical body 3, in which fins 2A corresponding to the respective blades 2 are formed by holding at the fixed relative position with one another, is molded by extrusion. The blade blank 4 is machined so as to shape each blade and as well as to form the combined blade body 6 composed of a group of blades held at the fixed relative position by being connected with a binding part 3A, which is at least a part of the cylindrical body 3 left unmachined for bindingthe blades one another. After that, the machined blank 4 is assembled to the shroud 1 shaped specially and brazed thereto. In such a manner as mentioned above, the improvement of the fixing accuracy of the blades to the shroud is resulted.
