Abstract

PURPOSE:To expand and reproduce color pictures having no influence of hue change by forming a dichroic mirror so as to change the transmitting (reflecting) characteristics in each part of the dichroic mirror according to the angle of incidence. CONSTITUTION:The 1st image receiving tube 3G is arranged so that the picture surface is perpendicular to the optical axis of a lens system, and the 2nd image receiving tube 3R and the 3rd one are arranged so as to be opposed in both the sides of the optical axis. The 1st (2R) and 2nd dichroic mirrors transmit the light for displaying the pictures of the 2nd (3R) and 3rd image receiving tubes selectively at respectively prescribed angles. In this case, the 1st mirror 2R and the 3rd mirror display respective transmitting characteristics at plural angles of incidence. Consequently even if comparative wide light generated from the peripheral parts 7, 8 of the image receiving tube 3G is penetrated into the mirror 2R, the light is prevented from the hue variation.
