Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve the starting characteristic and to enhance reliability of a tape player by a method wherein a driving motor constituted by accommodating and unifying two motors disposed in an array is used, and rotors of the two motors are coupled to a driven mechanism in common. CONSTITUTION:Magnetic cores 2a-2e are arranged being accommodated in a case 1 having the rectangular section, while the rotors 7, 8 of two groups constituted by providing with exciting poles 5a-5c, and moreover by applying exciting coils 6a-6c respectively to the respective exciting poles 5a-5c, are accommodated respectively rotation freely in the two space parts 3, 4 formed in parallel by the magnetic cores thereof, and accordingly the single driving motor having the two motors 9, 10 being unified is constituted. The respective rotors 7, 8 of the driving motor thereof are coupled to the driven mechanism in common.
