When the housing 1 is moved in the direction (x), the lens 5 is moved together with the lens housing 1 in the direction (x) as shown by a locus (c) and is moved in the direction (y) by a quantity of movement corresponding to the ratio to the sliding arm of the cam follower 3. This quantity of movement is set properly to change the position of the lens to P1 P2 P3 for magnification varying of the copying machine.
