Abstract
PURPOSE:To efficiently cut a plate off without overstraining it and upper and lower circular cutters, by removing the push feed force from the supplied plate as soon as its front end is engaged in between the upper and the lower circular cutters, so that repelling action on the cutters is absorbed. CONSTITUTION:Upper circular cutters 2 and lower circular cutters are supported on rotary shafts 3 at the front of a base 1. Auxiliary feed claws 8, 8 on the base 1 are provided as bolt-shaped members screwed in some of numerous holes 10 provided in the tops of a pair of right and left band members 9, 9, which are moved back and forth at a prescribed stroke between bearing plates 7 along them. The claws 8, 8 follow a workpiece plate and run into its rear end and push and move the workpiece plate. As soon as the front end of the workpiece plate is inserted in between the upper circular cutters 2 and the lower circular cutters and the claws 8, 8 has reached the end of the storke, the pushing force of claws to the workpiece plate is removed therefrom. This results in efficiently cutting off the workpiece plate without overstraining it and the circular cutters.
