Abstract

PURPOSE:To move a running optical member smoothly and accurately by a driving device which moves optical members such as a mirror, a lens, and a platen, by loosely fitting a free moving member, where both ends of a belt are locked, in the long-sized hole part of a member to be driven. CONSTITUTION:A running optical member 1 which holds a mirror, a lens, or a platen is fitted to a guide shaft 2 so that it can move up and down. To the optical member 1, a member 3 to be driven having a long-sized hole 3a at right angles to the movement direction of the member 1 is fixed. At both end positions of the member 3 to be driven, a driving pulley 4 and an idle pulley 5 are arranged,,and a belt 6 is extended between the both while both the end parts of the belt 6 are locked to a cylindrical free moving member 7. When the pulley 4 turns in a direction (a), the free moving member 7 moves in a direction (b) and the running optical member 1 also moves in the direction (b). When reaching the pulley 4, the member 7 moves down in the long-sized hole 3a and then moves to the reversed direction.
