Abstract

PURPOSE:To facilitate the assembly with less number of component parts while completely shutting out ambient moisture rainwater, sweat and the like by fitting a biting slant part of a watch middle into that of back cover of a case while a packing is compressed therebetween to achieve a waterproofing. CONSTITUTION:A case 5 of an electronic wrist watch is composed of an upper middle 6, a watch middle 7 and a back 8. A watch body 7 provided circumferentially with a groove 7a housing a biting section and a packing 9 at an axial upper portion is put together with the upper middle 6 having a biting section corresponding thereto by fitting one bulding section with the other. At the same time, the packing 9 housed in the groove 7a of the watch middle 7 is compressed between the undersurface 6a of the upper middle 6 and the groove 7a of the watch middle 7 to realize a water proofing. This enables complete shutting out of ambient moisture, rainwater, sweat and the like thereby facilitating the assembly with less number of component parts.
