Abstract

PURPOSE:To simplify the registration of weighing and the issue of labels and performing stock control easily by connecting between an electronic cash register (ECR) and a weighing machine electrically and providing a panel with a label key and a weighing key. CONSTITUTION:An ECR1 and a weighing machine 3 are connected through a cable 2, and on the keyboard 4 of the ECR1 there is provided with a keyboard 4, register keys 4a, category keys 4b, transaction keys 4c, and function keys 4d and in addition to these keys a weighing key 4e and a label key 4f are provided. A preset memory which stores a unit cost per weight previously and a buffer memory which stores sales details temporally are accomodated in an RAM connected to the CPU of the ECR1. At the weighing sales, a saled commodity is put on the weighing machine 3, the cost of the saled commodity is calculated in an operating part according to the operation of the weighing key 4e and the category key 4b, and the cost calculated by the operation of the label key 4f, reading labels such as the commodity code and the shop name are issued from a label/receipt issuance port together with the receipt simultaneously registered.
