Abstract
PURPOSE:To make it possible to fix the titled heat accumulating vessel without using any particular fixing member to thereby facilitate the fixing operation of the vessel by a method wherein a number of polygonal flange sections are formed on the outer periphery of a circular or square tubular vessel forming the heat accumulating vessel, at predetermined intervals. CONSTITUTION:Regular triangular flange sections 1 and 1' are formed on both ends of a circular tubular vessel 2 forming a heat accumulating vessel such that the flange section 1' is made to have two grooves 12 in its two sides, respectively, and a single projection 11 on the remaining side while the opposite flange 1 is made to have a single groove 12 in one of its sides and two projections 11 on the remaining sides, respecrively. Further, pin holes 13 are drilled in both of the flanges 1 and 1', respectively, so that pins (not shown) are inserted into the pin holes 13 to thereby fix the vessel 2 another heat accumulating vessel of the like structure. Accordingly, it becomes possible to fix a number of the above type of heat exchanging vessels to one another through the above men tioned fitting mechanism.
