Abstract

PURPOSE:To perform continuous measuring stably for a long period in measuring the concentration of the vaporizing component in the liquid by using a porous tube having liquid repelling property and continual minute air holes, by incorporating a replacement tube in the device. CONSTITUTION:Pipes 1 and 4 which send carrier gas and pipes 2 and 5 which exhaust the carrier gas are connected to a plurality of tubes 3 and 6 having the liquid repelling property and minute continual air holes, respectively. The pipes 2 and 5 are connected to a component detecting part 9. One of the porous tubes 3 and 6 is used as a measuring tube for detecting the component, and the other is used as a replacement tube. The pressurizing gas is sent into the replacement gas from the carrier gas sending pipe 1 or 4 so that the gas is blown out of the minute holes into the liquid. The component detection is perforemd with the replacement tube being always maintained under the fresh state. When the performance of the measuring tube is degraded, the replacement tube is switched over to the measuring tube for immediate employment.
