Abstract

PURPOSE:To make it possible to perform quick, adequate balancing of a rotor and to improve a man-machine interface, by processing and displaying the output of a computer as useful information for an operator in the production process of large rotary machines. CONSTITUTION:The output signals from vibration pickups 4-7 corresponding to rotor 1 pass a vibration meter 13 and a tracking filter, and only the rotation synchronized component in the overall vibrations is taken out. Said vibration signal is received by the computer 16 and transferred and stored in a memory device 17. The computer 16 executes influence coefficient processing and preparation of a speed/amplitude curve and a Nyquist line based on balance computation programs such as a correction weight computation program and a residual vibration program, and a analysis and display program, in the memory device 18; and displays the results on a graphic display device 19 with a keyboard. The operator observes said displayed contents and executes the necessary processing.
