CONSTITUTION:A chain 8 is placed over a tyre 14 with both of the hanging ends 9x, 9y of the chain in the same length. After hooking up a hook 4 of a assisting device 2 to a ring 13 near the first ring 12a of the chain 8, the side of the hook 6 is thrown over to bring the assisting device 2 to the front of the tyre through the rear of the tyre 14. Then the assisting device 2 is brought to the side of the first hook 10a of the chain 8 by moving the chain 8 placed over the tyre 14 toward the rear of the tyre 14. Then the hooks 4, 6 are detached and the chain 8 is placed over the tyre 14 with the first ring 12a and the first hook connected making both of the hanging ends 9x, 9y of the chain the same length.
