Abstract
PURPOSE:To achieve running with an optimum state to a load, by operating a plurality of pumps based on the information relating to the state of individual pumps and the coupling state of each pump. CONSTITUTION:A pump coupling state signal generator 1 outputs a coupling instruction signal f1 corresponding to the setting of mutual coupling state consisting of the order of coupling of a plurality of pumps consituting pump groups with addresses respectively and of series and parallel coupling. A coupling state function generator 2 is driven with the signal f1 to form a coupling state function of the pump groups and a coupling function f2 is outputted. A pump characteristic function generator 3 outputs a characteristic function signal f3 based on the characteristic curves of each pump. A driving state setter 4 sets the running state of pumps desired for driving to output an operating function signal f4. The optimum running characteristic function for the pump groups is displayed based on the signals f1-f4.
