Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent any rotation between leads and an insulating spacer by making the leads to have a square cross section, and providing the spacer with square penetration holes. CONSTITUTION:Cathode supporting leads 41 and 51, which have a square cross section, are made to penetrate through square holes provided in a washer 71, and are fixed and fused to the washer 71 by means of a solder. After that, an insulating spacer 91 having two square holes is fixed to the square leads 41 and 51, which penetrate through the holes of the spacer 91, by means of a metal ribbon. Since the insulating spacer 91 having the square holes is fixed to the square leads 41 and 51, the leads 41 and 51 don't rotate in the spacer 91, and the leads 41 and 51 and the spacer 91 vibrate in a body. Consequently, a strong electron tube the filament of which is hardly disconnected due to external shocks or vibrations can be obtained.
